Diabekan

Diabekan is a food supplement containing 200mg per capsule of dry aqueous extract of cinnamon which is corresponding to 2g ground cinnamon.
Ground cinnamon contains oils, which can irritate the stomach. Aqueous extract does not contain them and in this way the irritation is avoided. Cinnamon extract makes dosing easy.
Diabekan can be used with the standard therapy simultaneously but blood sugar level should be monitored. Long term administration can lead to a possibility of lowering the doses of medicines but this could be judged only by a doctor.
Diabekan is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women and for people with allergy to cinnamon.
